An Innocent Child and A Famous Photographer

It was 4th day of June Sunday afternoon at San Sebastian Cathedral church. It was crowded because a lot of people attended a mass. The clouds were dark and it seems a downpour was expected to happen. The climate depicts the situation of poor young boy named Harry. Harry was working so hard by means of selling sampaguita in front of Cathedral. He's having fun time together with his friends, 7-10 years of age.  Despite of heavy rain, the happiness of childhood were seen to them. They enjoyed the pouring rain that times. After they enjoyed the rain, his friends decided to go home because they were tired. The time comes he felt being alone and he was so down hearted. It seems that he wanted to be with his company just to forget his condition. He was look pity because he has no family to lean on. He was badly needed his family because of his abnormal condition called hydrocephalus.

 If you were a keen observer, it seems that Harry was different to his company. He had a bloated head that makes him weak at times but he endure it to provide his own needs. Harry experienced a lot of things to support his needs. Since he has a condition like that it’s hard for him to fight for his life. After selling sampaguita, he entered inside the church, he kneeled and bowed his head to pray. After talking to God he lift up his head and accidentally saw a wallet he was shocked because it has a big amount of  cash he tried to give back to the owner but he realized that he also need it and quietly leaved the church with the money. On his way home while he was checking what inside the wallet. He didn’t notice that there was a man followed him, he continued walking without knowing that man who followed him was the owner of the wallet. When he arrived at home, he was surprised because there was a man sitting outside his house. Harry tried to escape but because of his condition he cannot run fast so he caught by a man.

“Sir, sorry for what I did. It’s not my intention. I just need a money so I can buy foods for myself.’’ said Harry.

“No its okay. But why did you do that. Don’t you know that is bad?  You are too young to steal the things that is not yours. Look at your condition you are supposed to be in your house because you need rest. I need to talk to your parents” said the man.

“Oh I am alone. They were passed away when I was five years old. I am fighting for my life by myself without the help of anyone” said Harry.

            “I feel sorry for your situation” said Jack

            “Here is your wallet Sir sorry for stealing the most important thing of you. I was just carried about my situation. Now I realized that I need to return this to you because stealing thing from anyone is not a good thing” said harry

            “I understand you and your situation. I’m hoping that you will not do this again. It’s nice to see you and to know more about you. See you around. God bless!” said Jack.

At this moment Jack entered the picture. He`s studying in a college institution near the cathedral. Jack is a multi-media arts student who's aiming to be a famous photographer.

 One day, same time same place Jack went to cathedral church again as he was looking for nowhere his eyes were nailed to Harry who was still continuing to sell sampaguita while slaying under the rain. He noticed the tired and frustrated face of Harry. He released his camera and took a picture. Not just an ordinary photo but an extraordinary portrait which emphasizes the face of poverty. Harry saw and approached him. Jack told Harry to pursue what he was doing. Then Harry walked away from him with a big smile on his face even though the rain was pouring Harry was eager to earn money because the word of Jack marked to him. On that day the road was slippery vehicles were rushing so fast, while crossing the road. The sampaguita that he was selling fell down he tend to pick up it Harry was accidentally hit by a car. Some people who saw the accident tried to help Harry, the tricycle driver bring harry to the near hospital but the doctor declared harry as dead on arrival. The person who hit Harry didn’t care about what happened, the car owner runaway from his sin and didn’t try to know if Harry is okay or in a good condition. Jack was sad for what happened because he couldn’t help and save Harry

            After a month, Jack checked his camera because he was looking for the picture of his mother then unexpectedly saw Harry’s picture. So he posted the photos of Harry in the social media wherein the picture shows how Harry is dedicated and hard working on what he is doing, even though he has a hydrocephalus he tried to survive every day. Jack’s purpose in posting those pictures of Harry is to find the person who made that terrible accident. So many netizens reacted to that post some were emotional and angry because of what happened to an innocent child and some comments were saluting Jack for being brave enough to express his eagerness to catch the suspect and get the justice for Harry. As time goes by through sharing those post of Jack there is someone who told him that the criminal surrender himself to the police.

            Jack was glad to the good news that he received that day, he know that Harry was happy in heaven and he will be rest in peace. Now Jack became a famous photographer because of his good deeds, some people visit his timeline without knowing that he is a nameless photographer. The netizens share some of the portrait that’s captured by Jack and he became a famous, they message Jack to become their photographer on their wedding and different occasion.

            Jack became successful and achieve his dream, Harry is the reason why Jack is on his position right now.
